Cloud Architect:
An exciting challenge to join this fast-growth Global Consulting Practice and help make a difference in the shaping of Clients Cloud Transformation projects in AWS, Azure, OCI & Google Cloud for Database migrations etc. You will need to be a real self-starter and work with the Global Team.
As an AWS Partner and working with Databases. You will be a key player in providing Cloud solutions and services to customers, partners, and prospects. You will work closely with the Delivery Team and take ownership of the successful projects and services.
Key responsibilities involve:
Discovery and design plus architecture for Cloud solutions based on customer requirements.You will have hands-on technical experience with AWS, Oracle Cloud and Azure. You will use these technologies to provide solutions needed and issues & to lead technical discussions. You will identify the right solution for customers’ needs by supporting Presales.
Ideal Profile:
You will have excellent track record of leading Cloud architecture through their lifecycle including technical qualification, solution development, solution presentation, demonstrations & work on Proof of Concept with Presales as needed. In addition you will need at least 6 years’ relevant experience with the Cloud Infrastructure / Solutions Architect. You will need experience running in one or more of the following public clouds – Oracle OCI, AWS, Google and Microsoft Azure.
Types of roles you may have been in include a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions or solutions architect and you will have an understanding of methods and tooling for assessing cloud readiness and automation etc. You will possess solid experience of Cloud concepts and virtual env. IaaS, PaaS with Linux/Unix programming: Powershell, Bash, Perl and Python.
You will have networking experience within DNS, VPNs, WANs LANs and Load Balancing or F5 or similar. In addition you will have strong experience with Linux Distributions example include Redhat and Ubuntu. You will be enthusiastic about hands on learning and you will have a desire to understand how technology can solve business problems.
Desired Cloud Related Experience:
You will have an understanding of application development/deployment concepts and tools to enable successful Cloud transformation and organizational acceptance. In addition experience with technologies that automate infrastructure and software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment, such as Ansible and Terraform would be ideal expertise. You will ideally have experience with Oracle Engineered Systems, SQL server etc. Candidates will have knowledge of middleware tech. such as Tomcat and JBoss. You will have experience with Agile or Scaled Agile and SAFe could be an advantage.
