M & A Advisor/Consultant 

Location: London

Salary: £70K basic plus 30% bonus


This is a really exciting opportunity to join this fast growth Practice in M&A for UK & EMEA.

You will be working with a variety of Clients including PE, Family Businesses, Corporates, and various Investors, concentrating on Technology, IT, Innovation.

Key Services to be delivered include working with the Team and Clients to offer an end-to- end solution in the following:

  • Strategy
  • Due Diligence
  • Integration

You will be a part of a highly skilled and driven team working on both local and international engagements, applying your business, management and technical skills across the M&A lifecycle.

This will be covering pre-deal technology & commercial due diligence, portfolio review and corporate carve-outs & integrations.

Responsibilities will vary but may include:

  • Work with PE, banking, and corporate clients on the buy- and sell-side to deliver technology and commercial due-diligence.
  • Gain a deep understanding of IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, and key organizational drivers that help influence solutions in IT.
  • Support Managers and Senior Management by undertaking project management responsibilities.
  • Support on the design, preparation.
  • Help plan delivery of engagements in the M&A space.
  • Take ownership of workstreams where possible with delivery teams across the technology practice for projects, supporting engagement managers.
  • Organize and present in client meetings.
  • Help in the delivery of pitches, RFP’s, RFI’s etc.

Ideal Profile

  • 3-5 years of relevant and related work experience in a consulting / related banking environment, industry role.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree (STEM, economics, business) with an outstanding academic record from leading universities.
  • Strong industry experience (start-up’s, scale-up’s etc.) background without prior consulting/banking experience will be considered also poss. (IT Project Managers etc.)
  • Proven team player, backed by project management expertise.
  • Demonstrated interest in the intersection between M&A, strategy, and technology.
  • Ability to present confidently to Executive Management and Boards of Directors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluent in English (European languages desirable).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
